Top Welsh Chef Hefin Roberts Joins the Development Team at Fine Food Company Castell Howell

Castell Howell are extremely pleased to announce that Chef Hefin Roberts has joined their development team.

Hefin has been cooking and pushing the culinary limits for as long as he can remember. His first job at the age of 14 as a kitchen porter triggered his ambition to become an award winning Chef. He signed up and joined the Welsh National Culinary Team in 2002 and to date has won a string of medals and awards all over the world.

While with the Welsh team Hefin also cooked for HRH Prince Charles and David Cameron. 2009 came along with the opportunity he couldn’t miss with his appointment as Head Chef at the renowned Loft Restaurant at The Bull.

He achieved the first ever 3 Rosettes accolade to be announced on the Isle of Anglesey and in the same year achieved Best Testaurant in Wales. Eight years at the helm of the Loft kitchen, Hefin has now decided to join the largest independent foodservice company in Wales, Castell Howell Foods.

Hefin is now Fine Foods Development Chef for North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire, where he plans improve the food knowledge and set trends across the northern region.
