Joining the Chefs' Forum
If you are working in a Michelin, AA Rosette or Good Food Guide listed kitchen, we want to hear from you.
The Chefs’ Forum is a great way of meeting fellow chefs and engaging with the next generation through working with the colleges. I absolutely love teaching in The Chefs’ Forum Academy at West London College and passing on my knowledge to the next generation of chefs. I have hosted an event for the Chefs’ Forum where I was able to showcase the talent in my brigade and have performed cookery demos on stage at food shows – It is a great platform for all in the industry.
Michael Dutnall, Executive Chef, RAF Club
“It’s crucial that we go into colleges and give back to our industry. The next generation of chefs is here and it is imperative that we support and nurture young talent. I am delighted to be here at The Manchester College today and have invited the young chefs making the fish course of crab risotto with Thai flavours for trial shifts in my Manchester restaurant as a result of their excellent performance today.”
James Martin, Chef Proprietor, James Martin Manchester
“It’s very important that we mentor and nurture the next generation of hospitality professionals and keep introducing them to wonderful food and cooking styles from all over the world. Its great to welcome West London College and Westminster Kingsway into my kitchen today, they have been a real credit to their colleges.”
Cyrus Todiwala OBE DL, Chef Proprietor, Café Spice Namaste
The Chefs’ Forum has enabled me to maintain links with chefs I have worked with in the past. It is great to catch-up with everybody at quarterly events and keep my finger on the industry pulse. I have enjoyed cooking with the students of UCB at various Chefs’ Lunches with The Chefs’ Forum, it is imperative that we nurture and inspire the next generation.
Mark Walsh , Head Chef, Forest Hotel
“This was the first time I have worked with The Chefs’ Forum and it was a real pleasure to have these young people in the kitchen – The team and I loved working with them. They did a fantastic job and were all a real credit to their colleges. I am excited to see what they go on to do in the future. It is so lovely to see so many people here and to have this room full of people from the industry – It was great to catch up with friends old and new.”
Louise McCrimmon, Head Chef, Harvey Nichols, Bristol
“Today’s been a great day, with a fantastic turnout despite the Cornish weather! It’s been brilliant to work with The Chefs’ Forum and put on a great show for the rest of the industry, with everyone getting involved.”
Jude Kereama, Chef Proprietor, Kota Kai Restaurant & Great British Menu Contestant
