New Head Chef at Ston Easton

Ston Easton Park is excited to announce the appointment of Daniel Moon as their new chef at their hotel and restaurant, which is now under new management. The team hope to revitalise the restaurant and inject it with something special.

This appointment reunites Moon with General Manager Denis Verrier. The pair successfully worked together at Homewood Park in Bath, where they re-launched the park’s restaurant to a great reception. Within a year their new place, Lime Restaurant, had been awarded Bath’s Best Restaurant and had been featured in Top Table’s ‘Top 10’ and had gained 3 AA Rosettes.

Ston Easton’s Park’s Sorrel restaurant will be in for some big changes. An investment from the new owners will see the restoration of the Estate’s original kitchen garden, so as much as the food offered on the menu as possible can be produced there.

On the subject of his new job, Moon said:  “A restaurant in an Estate of this stature deserves to be serving exceptional cuisine.  With the very best of local produce and all that I believe I can bring to Ston Easton Park, we can aim no lower than 3 AA rosettes and a Michelin star.”

Moon commences his new position on November 1st 2012.
