Jason Atherton’s Social Wine & Tapas to Host a Collaborative Dinner with Picture Restaurant
Jason Atherton and Executive Head Chef of Social Wine & Tapas, Marcus Rohlen, will be hosting a collaborative dinner with fellow Marylebone restaurant, Picture.
Available for one night only, the five-course menu will offer guests the opportunity to experience a selection of dishes chosen by three of London’s most innovative chefs to showcase the essence of each restaurant’s style of cooking, whilst working together harmoniously to deliver a unique experience for the diner.
Jason will be greeting guests on arrival, and with Marcus, will be introducing the dishes created by Social Wine & Tapas, while the dishes created by Picture will be introduced by co-founders Colin Kelly, Tom Slegg and Alan Christie.
To begin, guests can enjoy snacks such as sardine on toast with tomatillo vinaigrette and game bites with nduja emulsion, before sampling dishes including Lake District venison, artichoke, apple balsamic beurre noisette, and a pressed pork cheek with lightly smoked ham hock, rhubarb, endive marmalade and pickled beetroot.
For dessert, the menu will feature persimmon, cava sabayon and a lime fromage frais sorbet. In addition, Social Wine & Tapas’ Executive Sommelier, Laure Patry, has created a dynamic list of wines to enhance the flavour profile of each dish.
