Cornwall Food Foundation FoodWorks CrowdFunder Needs Your Help!

FoodWorks – changing lives through food education.
‘If I can cook, I can do anything’…this basic truth is at the heart of Fifteen Cornwall’s newly launched crowdfunding campaign, FoodWorks, which aims to bring meaningful change to many lives through food education.
With a target of £40,000 and a deadline of June 3rd, the Cornwall Food Foundation, the charity behind Fifteen, will bring people together to share and practice food skills, enabling them to support and motivate each other to cook for healthier lives. This challenge is close to the heart of the Lynher Dairies Cheese Company, the makers of Cornish Yarg, where top chefs and catering students enjoyed a sunny and delicious Chefs’ Forum on May 11th.
As chair of Fifteen Cornwall, Lynher’s owner Catherine Mead sees first hand on a regular basis how newly gained food knowledge – whether that be how to cook it, where to find it and even how to eat it – inspires and transforms lives.
“If you care about good food, then please get involved. We would love to make this project happen, believing it could make important but simple changes to the way people live.”
