Michelin Guide news breaks early

Michelin’s new star ratings for U.K. restaurants, scheduled to be published next week, have appeared on the company’s website.

Alyn Williams at the Westbury, Tom Aikens Dabbous, Medlar, Hedone, Hakkasan Mayfair and Launceston Place are among London establishments that have been awarded a star; Sketch (The Lecture Room) has won a second, according to the site.

Outside London, Simon Rogan’s L’Enclume has won a second star and Heston Blumethal’s Hinds Head a first, the site says.

South West favourite Paul Ainsworth has been awarded his first star, based on todays news.

The site lists restaurants individually and it is unclear if these are the confirmed new ratings.

The announcement was scheduled for Oct. 4, a day before publication of the guide.
