Orrery Marks 21st Birthday with a Dinner Cooked by Stellar Line-up of Ex-chefs
On March 21, Orrery will celebrate its 21st birthday with a one-off ticketed dinner cooked by Orrery alumni.
The stellar line-up includes Chris Galvin, André Garrett and Allan Pickett.
Showcasing the past and present of Orrery cooking across two decades, resident chef Igor Tymchyshyn will begin by serving the Orrery classic of fillet steak tartare, quail egg, sourdough and truffle before Allan Pickett’s fish course of seared sea scallop, caramelised cauliflower purée and florets, golden raisins and spiced oil.
Chris Galvin takes to the pass next with his main course of Laque dombe duck, foie gras, pickled turnip and spiced jus, followed by resident frommelier, Anthony Schepper, who will present his cheese trolley tableside, serving some of his favourites.
Looking after dessert will be André Garrett with his peanut butter mousse, bitter chocolate, lemon, salted caramel and honeycomb.
Tickets include Laurent-Perrier champagne on arrival and five courses paired with wine for £95 per person, and can be purchased via http://shop.danddlondon.com/product/orreryalumnidinner/.
