Give a brief overview of your career.
I was born in Ulhasnagar, a city located in outskirts of Mumbai (India). I came to UK in 2005 as a Commis Chef & worked my way up to my first Head Chef job in 2016 at Butlers Wharf Chop House.
Where did you learn your skills/culinary education?
Mumbai, I completed a 3 years diploma in hotel management.
What do you enjoy most about being a chef?
Unknown, uncertainty, constant pressure, creativity… list is endless…
How do you come up with new dishes?
My inspiration for my menu is season & produce driven.
Who was your greatest influence?
Nitin Kulkarni, my first Head Chef in Mumbai. He thought me its not only cooking but you have to be disciplined as well to be a chef! I really look up to Sat Bains as his food is flavour, seasonal & best produce driven too!

White Heat & Le Repertoire de La Cuisine.
