Native Welshman Hywel Griffith is chef director to Beach House restaurant, situated on the iconic Oxwich beach in the Gower Peninsular.

Having opened the restaurant in 2016, it’s won several awards including Swansea Bay restaurant of the year, AA restaurant of the year for Wales, 3AA Rosettes and a Michelin Star.

Hywel has made many TV and radio appearances, including his regular spot on Y Sioe Fwyd, and more recently, twice winning the regional heats for Wales in Great British Menu. Away from the restaurant, Hywel is a keen hunter and forager, and often travels around the country searching for his next great find.
