We require a Junior Sous Chef & Assistant Restaurant Manager at our award winning, 3 AA rosettes Hell Bay Hotel on the beautiful island of Bryher which is situated on the Isles of Scilly which are located 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall.
Chef duties include; preparing and cooking food to a very high standard within the kitchen brigade. Must be able to understand menu’s and work with fresh produce to provide our high rated cuisine and be passionate about food. Must be able to cook to suit any special dietary requirements that customers may have and ensure the smooth running of all aspects in the kitchen.

Assistant Restaurant Manager duties include; preparing restaurant and setting up guest tables. Assisting the manager with rota’s, staff recruitment and training. Taking Food and Beverages orders and relaying to kitchen. Serving food to guests in restaurant and other dining areas. Liaise with kitchen brigade regarding menu content and any special dietary requirements. Acting as Restaurant Manager in their absence.

Must have existing experience in Hotel Restaurant or an establishment with a good reputation for excellent cuisine.
Accommodation is provided for this position which runs from March/April until October. Travel is paid for from Penzance to the Isles of Scilly at the beginning and end of the contract period.
