Multi Award winning Devon Pub Restaurant The Jack In The Green is opening a second premises. At the 5 Bells Clyst Hydon, a picture postcard village Inn, we are now recruiting a small kitchen and front of house team at all levels. Most importantly we are looking for a head chef, second chef, chef de partie/trainee and a front of house assistant/trainee.

Having been fully refurbished to include a new kitchen, bar seating for 40, a restaurant area for 40 and an idyllic Devon beer garden, The 5 Bells will open in July 2013.


Following the refurbishment we are now looking to build a passionate and energetic team who can help forge a reputation as strong as The Jack In The Green’s. We will be serving beautifully prepared, traditional, locally sourced Devon pub food with the opportunity for the Head Chef to make a name for themselves with their own menu.


If you are passionate about local produce, professional, energetic, have an eye for attention to detail and keen to be part of a small team that delivers consistent quality we would love to hear from you. Head Chef, Sous Chef and front of house assistant applicants must have relevant experience of working in a similar establishment in similar roles.
