Andrew James Butchery represents Britain’s leading producers in London
In celebration of St George’s Day on the 23rd April, Park Terrace Restaurant in the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington will be holding a week-long ‘British Food Producers Festival’ showcasing top quality ingredients from some of Britain’s leading producers – Our sponsor, Andrew James Butchery of Devon will be one of these.
The festival will consist of five evenings of outstanding British food and informative entertainment alongside their suppliers, specifically James Knight of Mayfair demonstrating fish and talking about sustainable sourcing; The Denham Estate cooking with venison and talking about husbanding one of the largest herds of fallow deer in Europe; Sharpham Park showcasing spelt and other organic products; Steve Turton (Master Butcher) Andrew James Butchery giving a butchery masterclass and breaking down nearly a whole side of a cow; and James Montgomery conducting a tasting and talk about the making of Montgomery Cheese.
Each evening will commence with a masterclass presented by the suppliers in Park Terrace’s private dining room, illustrating the path of their produce from source to dinner table. This will then be followed by a bespoke six-course dinner in the restaurant featuring ingredients from each supplier, specially designed by Executive Head Chef Steve Munkley, with accompanying wines and beers to complement the dishes.
