Anton and Gail Buttery are a successful husband and wife team. Anton’s introduction to the culinary arts commenced with his basic training in the Army Catering Corps. On his return to ‘Civvy Street’ he was Chef in his parents Hotel and Pub/Restaurant in Newquay. Eight years in Basingstoke increased his commercial experience in various establishments. He has fine tuned his skills by constant research and personal development to a level enjoyed by all guests to his signature Fine Dining Restaurant, Langmans in Callington near Plymouth.
October 2000 saw the realisation of their dream to own their own restaurant. At Langmans, Anton and Gail established a reputation as a Restaurant with excellent food and service. Accolades have included consistently achieving 2AA Rosettes for Culinary Excellence and Cornwall’s Restaurant of the Year on more than one occasion!
In 2017 the opportunity arose to take over this well established cafe in Mousehole. Following a complete refurbishment and new look, Four Teas Cafe Mousehole was launched April 2018.
Four Teas Cafe is inspired by the 1940’s. The emphasis is on great quality food and friendly professional service.
