2019 ARON Award Nominations Creating a Stir! It’s About #MeritNotMoney
Nominations for the 2019 ARON Awards opened this week and in true #AsianTechStyle, the Asian Restaurant Owners Network is already creating a stir!
Despite only being in its second year, the ARON Awards have exploded onto the scene, with one key factor separating it from other awards in the industry – there is absolutely no money changing hands between organisers and nominees.
“There will be no “participation fees”, admin charges, hidden costs or ticket bills. This current, unfair process is preventing thousands of truly creative, pioneering individuals from receiving the recognition and praise they genuinely deserve. These entrepreneurs shouldn’t be financially discouraged within their own industry – they should be encouraged due to their success and innovation in spite of it!” (ARON Press Team)
ARON Managing Director Rehan Uddin wants to encourage any hidden talents in the Asian food industry to come forward, “we are the only network targeting an estimated 17% of young, motivational, game-changers. We are passionate about removing the tainted stereotype associated with Asian cuisine and are very excited to be providing a platform at the 2019 ARON Awards for the future of excellence in British-Asian entrepreneurs; investing in the youth and advocating gender equality. Our winners will always be based on #GenuineMerit”.
Nominations are open to anyone within the Asian food industry – with 10 award categories to put forward your establishment(s) or nominate individual(s) you recognise as truly deserving:

Tickets/tables are not available to purchase for the ARON Awards as there is no charge for entry, instead invitations will be sent to award nominee finalists and inspirational individuals.
Entries must be submitted by 24th September. The 2019 ARON Awards will be held at the Harbour Hotel, Bristol on January 14th
