Stemming from my love for authentic flavours  and innovative and imaginative cooking techniques, I am truly passionate about being able to share a fresh perspective on Indian cuisine. OFFERING a modern approach to traditional cooking. I look to break down the conventional barriers, and both inspire and educate people in Indian cuisine.  My dishes reflect my innovative style, and i enjoy fusing local and seasonal produce with global influences, the result of which is a world away from Birmingham’s renowned Baltis.

An experienced Chef , I have spent years progressing through restaurant kitchen in dubai, india, spain and UK. At 17 i accepted a place to train in Hotel Management in Chennai. I then subsequently joined the ambassador hotel and trained with the Taj group. At 23 moved to Dubai to take up my first executive chef role.

Over  my career, i have also worked  in Spain heading  up Tamarind restaurant. In 2003 I moved to England where I started working for the saffron restaurant group as executive head chef.

Achieving an AA Rosette, and being recognised in the Michelin, Hardens and Good Food Guides were certainly the highlights, as was Saffron winning The Good Food Guide’s  Midlands Restaurant of the year in2010.

Now based in Cutnall Green, Entouraj has been open for the past 12 months. A true celebration of Indian flavours, the menu looks to showcase my signature dishes that I have perfected over the years.

My culinary career in Indian food spans over three decades, over the years I have taken part in a range ofd live cooking demos including HOTELYMPIA, GRAND DESIGNS and the Food & Drink Expo at the NEC. I have also appeared on ITV’S Britain’s Best Dish, BBC2’S Restaurant with Alex Polizzi, judging CBBC’s Disaster Chef, Channel 4’s Iron chef, judging Brit Asia TV’S Culinary King, Food Network’s Birmingham to Bombay and Channel S;S catering circle.

I also judged BA National Chef of the year 2013,2014 and 2015.
