Samuel is currently at The Tyler’s Kiln, Canterbury as their new Chef Patron (since October 2022.)
He has been in the game since he was 16 and studied professional cookery in Broadstairs College.
He was The Dog at Wingham’s Head Chef for 5 years which has won awards under his management. Before that he worked at his local Michelin star restaurant, The Sportsman in Seasalter as a Chef De Partie.
He has staged in Michelin star restaurants such as The Hand & Flowers in Marlow, Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London, and Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxford.
He also excelled in other chef competition. He won Best Young Pub Chef 2021: Great British Pub Awards. And also won international competition ‘Entente Cordialle’ in 2016 solely representing his college.
In 2021 he reached the quarter finals in MasterChef UK: The Professionals – series 14.
