I have been a chef since leaving school at the age of 16 I have worked in all areas of the industry from industrial cooking to fine dining.

I always wanted to teach new chefs coming into the industry but felt I needed more experience in myself. I worked as a worked based assessor for 13 years before completing my teaching certificate.

I enjoy my job very much and it gives me a sense of fulfilment when a learner completes their tasks and builds their confidence.
