Andrew trained at University College Birmingham and achieved a national diploma level 3 in professional cookery. He then went on to work for Will Holland at La Becasse and at Coast Restaurant.
In 2015, Andrew won Junior chef of Wales. This then led to him joining the loft restaurant at The Bull Beaumaris in November 2015.
In October 2016, he took over as Head Chef and impressively achieved two AA rosettes by January 2017. In June 2018 Andrew became Executive Head chef of the Bull Beaumaris, looking after both of the restaurants the hotel.
The Loft Restaurant was voted 49th best UK restaurant by Hardens Square meal 2017.
July 2019 Andrew along side business partner and good friend Oli Thompson opened their first restaurant ‘The Gaerwen Arms’ on Anglesey and achieved 2AA rosette after 12 weeks of being open
Andrew trained to become a Bee Keeper in 2016 and was included in the Caterers ‘menu watch’ in 2017.
Andrew is proud to change his whole menu on the first of every month, keeping it as seasonal as possible. He is proud to use as many suppliers on the island of Anglesey as possible.
