The post of Lecturer in Culinary Arts will deliver outstanding teaching, learning and assessment at all further education levels including apprenticeships.

The role will require the delivery of advanced culinary skills, personal tutoring, and pastoral care of students as well as administrative duties.

Post-holders will also be required to work within the Academy for Professional Skills (APS) to support recruitment, admissions, retention and progression so as to maintain the high levels of student achievement and satisfaction.

RACA Adopt a School – To deliver workshops to primary and secondary school children in and around the London area – mainly in schools, but also on farms and at festivals.

To build networks within the London community to promote Adopt a School.

The Academy for Professional Skills at UWL delivers high quality further education in hospitality, catering and allied subjects to approximately 380 learners. In addition, the Academy works university wide in the development and delivery of apprenticeships including higher apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships.

In 2013 the Academy (then part of the London College of Hospitality and Tourism) was awarded outstanding by Ofsted across all grades. The Academy is determined to maintain this grade and is seeking a new lecturer to continue this work and join in its mission to be the first choice for quality technical and professional education in West London.
