The Angel Taste of Devon is a relaxed fine dining restaurant located in the beautiful town of Dartmouth, Devon, overlooking the River Dart.  It is a multiple award winning restaurant and the team is headed up by Head Chef, Elly Wentworth, former Master Chef The Professionals Finalist 2016.  We are now looking for a suitable candidate to join this dedicated and talented team on a full-time basis.

The role

This superb opportunity is for a Sous Chef to join our small but professional team working in a relaxed fine dining restaurant.  You will work in a busy kitchen environment using fresh and local ingredients.  You should be capable of assisting in all areas of the kitchen and experience of pastry is desirable.  You should have a good understanding of our style of food and thus be capable of plating to a high standard under the pressures of service.

You will need to have a minimum of two years’ experience of working at Junior Sous/Chef de Partie level.  You will work alongside a professional and  knowledgeable Head Chef and should be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.

Familiarity with current food hygiene legislation including kitchen risk assessments is essential.
