As a Restaurant Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high quality catering and hospitality training to students and ensuring that they are equipped with the skills required to progress and succeed.

Providing a flexible and responsible approach to students, you’ll develop their skills and assess their competence in training or workplace environments. You’ll provide practical instruction and guidance, report on the conduct and progress of students and ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.

Liaising with internal and external verifiers, you’ll make sure that candidate portfolios satisfy the criteria of awarding bodies. Additionally, you’ll manage the day-to-day operations of all restaurant resources and undertake a range of general bar and restaurant duties.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

– Experience gained in a high quality restaurant establishment
– Knowledge of the restaurant service industry
– Knowledge of health and food safety and allergen legislation
– The ability to work with student groups with a wide range of abilities

Self-motivated and proactive, as a Restaurant Instructor, you must have great communication, organisation and problem solving skills, as well as a team player mentality.

Please note, the closing date for this role is 22nd July 2015, with interviews scheduled to commence shortly after this date. The working hours for this role are 26 hours per week.

This role is available on a full year or term time only basis.
