We are opening an exciting new Italian restaurant in Slough that blends modern dining with creative flair. Our focus is on delivering memorable experiences, and we are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to lead the dessert and bakery section with innovation and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and implement a unique dessert and pastry menu in line with the restaurant’s concept
- Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all pastry items.
- Manage day-to-day pastry operations, including stock control, ordering, and waste management.
- Train, mentor, and oversee junior pastry staff (if applicable).
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation.
- Collaborate with management team on seasonal updates and special menus.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, or patisserie.
- Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.
- Creative approach with an eye for presentation and flavour balance.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistency.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Food safety certification (desirable).
