We are opening an exciting new Italian restaurant in Slough that blends modern dining with creative flair. Our focus is on delivering memorable experiences, and we are looking for a passionate Pastry Chef to lead the dessert and bakery section with innovation and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and implement a unique dessert and pastry menu in line with the restaurant’s concept
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and presentation across all pastry items.
  • Manage day-to-day pastry operations, including stock control, ordering, and waste management.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee junior pastry staff (if applicable).
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organisation.
  • Collaborate with management team on seasonal updates and special menus.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-quality restaurant, hotel, or patisserie.
  • Strong knowledge of classic and modern pastry techniques.
  • Creative approach with an eye for presentation and flavour balance.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain consistency.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Food safety certification (desirable).
