Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, authenticity, and consistency to our Italian-inspired menu while ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute menus showcasing authentic Italian cuisine, with focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Manage day-to-day kitchen operations including prep, cooking, plating, and service.
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health standards.
- Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with management on menu development, specials, and cost control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Head Chef in a busy Italian restaurant environment.
- Deep knowledge of Italian cuisine, regional specialties, and traditional cooking methods.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage costs and work within budgets.
- Excellent communication and team management skills.
