About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food and Beverage Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching various hospitality-related subjects, including Food and Beverage Skills, Food Safety, Barista Skills, and Allergen Knowledge.
There may also be opportunities to teach Professional Cookery and/or Travel & Tourism theory.
Specific Duties
• Teaching: Deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons on Food and Beverage Skills, Food Safety, Barista Skills, and Allergen Knowledge.
• Lesson Preparation: Plan, prepare, and develop lesson content that meets the needs of our diverse student body.
• Assessment: Ensure timely and effective Teaching, Learning, and Assessment of learners to meet curriculum deadlines.
• Training: Educate students on the use of the latest technology in the Hospitality sector, including EPOS systems for the TASTE Restaurant.
• Promotion: Promote and develop the TASTE Restaurant, engaging with external stakeholders to boost sales and marketing efforts.
• Event Management: Participate in formal TASTE evening events, ensuring the smooth running and success of these occasions.
• Hygiene Standards: Maintain and enforce high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the TASTE Restaurant environment.
