The Lucky Onion are searching for a talented Senior Sous Chef to join our highly regarded kitchen team at our popular restaurant and 11 bedroom boutique hotel; 131 The Promenade in Cheltenham.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for quality, seasonal foods and provenance, delivering exceptional, inspired dishes and menu selections. With experience working as a Sous Chef or in an equivalent role, you will have outstanding culinary skills, creative flair as well as an exemplary attention to detail.

Reporting to the Head Chef you will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen, championing company standards, values and procedures. You will work positively and productively with the Front of House team and our brigade of chefs to ensure consistency of food quality and to maintain a motivated and engaged team.
The chosen applicant will have a minimum of 2 Rosette experience at senior level with experience of delivering over 100 covers. You will have strong commercial awareness, a thorough understanding of kitchen leadership and a desire to progress your career within the industry. You will thrive under pressure; retaining a sense of calm, fun and professionalism in equal measure.
