We are looking for a Chef de Partie to join our hard working kitchen team. Ideally you will have you have previous experience as CDP or Demi CDP in a similar property (Relais & Chateaux or 4/5 AA stars) and want the opportunity to progress then this could be ideal opportunity.
You will be responsible for the running of a section and ensuring that all foods prepared and cooked by you and your team meet the standards required by the Head Chef. Work in a team of 18 you will be responsible for the Commis chefs and apprentices, helping with their training and development.
A successful candidate will have a hunger to learn; will be passionate about fresh, local seasonal produce, desire to teach and pass on knowledge and must have expert eye for detail. .
This is a full time position working 5 days in 7, so weekend and evening working will form part of your weekly schedule.
The Bath Priory is beautiful grade 2 listed property situated on the edge of Bath city centre. The hotel comprises 27 individually designed and decorated rooms plus a further 6 suites, all equipped with the most modern conveniences. Our fine dining restaurant offers an A La Carte menu or Tasting Menu (which changes weekly) or the seasonal, Classic Tasting Menu. The hotel is set in its own 4 acres of formal and informal gardens and within 15 minutes walk of Bath city centre.
