Goodfellows is in the historic heart of Wells, a step from the famous Gothic cathedral. Adam, the Head Chef combines his love of fresh West Country produce with a passion for fish and the flavours of Mediterranean cuisine, learned from an apprenticeship in some of the greatest kitchens in Europe.
Adam has already achieved two red AA rosettes and placed on three occasions in The Times’ Top 10 Restaurants. Goodfellows scores highly in the Good Food Guide and was its Somerset Restaurant of the Year in 2006. It won Best Restaurant in the inaugural Taste of Somerset Award. In 2012 Adam was voted Best Local Chef in the Food Reader Awards, voted for by readers of the regional magazine.
